Ruth has a BA in Spanish and Child Development from San Jose State University and has worked in the preschool setting for over 20 years.

Ruth and her husband have 2 grown sons and one grand son. In her free time she likes to go hiking, discover new places to visit and enjoy God's beautiful creation in nature. 

In 2020 Ruth decided to start her career in Montessori by taking the training from East Bay Montessori Training.  She started working for Beginnings & Beyond in September of 2021 as an intern. In June of 2022, she has received her Early Childhood Montessori credential.  Ruth has continue working as a teacher in the 3-6 classroom and has brought some Spanish lessons to the children.
