Rebecca has worked closely with Beginnings and Beyond since she came on staff at First Presbyterian Church in 2015. As the liaison, she spends Thursday Circle Time with Orange Blossom, telling Bible stories using Godly Play, a Montessori-inspired method of teaching, wondering, and learning about where children find themselves in the great stories of the Bible. She is also occasionally on-call to read books, and help at lunch or at nap time. Rebecca also serves the parents and families by connecting at morning coffee, coordinating Parents’ Night Out three times a year, and offering other ways to socialize online. Rebecca will always find time to provide emotional or spiritual support.

For First Presbyterian Church, Rebecca is a Commissioned Lay Pastor, and one of the four Transition Ministry Partners leading the church. Her duties include leading Sunday Children’s Worship as the storyteller for weekly Godly Play, preaching once a month, and welcoming new people into the church family.
